“I want to touch people’s hearts.”

Whether as a singer, songwriter, digital creator, or father: Bera strives to make a difference with everything he does. His art should touch people’s hearts and positively influence their lives.

The beginnings.

Bera’s love for music has always been there. When he heard a melody as a 1 year old, he started dancing immediately so his parents would enable him to take his first piano and violin classes at the age of 4.

Born in Paris and travelling back and forth to Tbilisi, Bera’s art contains various cultural influences. Georgia is a very musical country and singing is a big part of the people’s heritage. In France, it’s all about choosing the right words and lyrics. Bera processes both. At the age of 10 he already writes pieces of French poetry – his first melodies are composed in his head even earlier.

Writing gave the teenage Bera lots of confidence and freedom. The many little texts and poems that he creates about and for his fellow people during school are so popular that he decides to make a serious career out of it. This part of his life influences him as a songwriter to this day.

Being an absolute family person, for Bera it has always been a drive to make the people he loves proud. “As humans we go through many different stages”, he says. “As kids and teenagers, we want to make our parents proud – and when you become a parent you want to make your children proud. As a young father I am actually in between so that I am thinking about making all of them proud. One smile is all it takes!”

The music.

Bera’s music contains influences from hip hop, R&B and pop, combining them with his unique voice and intelligent lyrics. Even though he has released songs in 5 different languages it’s Bera’s belief that music is the only universal one.

To this day Bera has released innumerable solo tracks and collaborations, many accompanied by elaborately produced music videos. Bera has shared the spotlight with Nash Grier, Claudia Leitte, Patoranking or Kiff No Beat – his mentor is none other than Wyclef Jean who feels reminded of his younger self.

Having his first song released at the age of 14, Bera’s list of professional achievements is a long one. Since 2010 he has sold out entire stadiums, released multiple hits and build up an influential digital appearance on various platforms.

Currently Bera looks forward to some exciting collab projects in Brazil and South Korea where his art went viral very naturally without any marketing push. Also, there are many solo projects on the way.

The inspirations.

Coming from an instrumentalist kind of background, Bera loves studying artists who keep their audience attracted with just one instrument. Nat King Cole, Ray Charles or Steve Wonder – to name a few. As a performer this is exactly what he wants to be able to do. No matter if there are 5,10 or one hundred thousand people in the room: Bera wants to touch people’s hearts.

The influencing.

Counting almost 10 million followers on all digital platforms, Bera is what we call a mega influencer. Remarkable enough that he really cares about his followers and considers them as an important part of his life: “I think many of those people know be better than most other people that know me in person.”

Being a reserved person, it was quite difficult for Bera in the beginning to realize how important social media is for a career in music these days. Compared to the mysteriousness of the old days, he considers the music industry of today a huge reality show.

Being present digitally for him only started feeling comfortable when his wife performed with him – what also led to their huge viral success over night. Now Bera feels happy and proud sharing content together with his family. And although the follower numbers continue to rise, he is honored about the fact that people out there find something about him worth following.

The charity work.

Bera is an active spokesperson for injustice around the world. He supports local and international foster homes, opened a charitable musical school, and has always been a regular guest with his fans around the globe. His recent charity work includes donating $1,1 million to the Amazon Aid Foundation for the regulation of global warming.

The purpose.

For Bera being different, being albino is a blessing. He feels differently special. And that’s one of his main messages: him performing and being out there, being successful, being a strong example for kids – always spreading the positivity.
